Evolutionary Astrology
Living from Your Soul Self
Just like the multidimensional frequencies of music or the color spectrum, Evolutionary Astrology invites us to remember we are each a creative masterpiece of archetypal identities, and that life is a medium of expression for our souls.
Beginning your investigation into astrology can be overwhelming and confusing at first, especially with the growing availability of astrological information. My greatest advice to anyone interested in astrology is to decide which approach resonates with their needs, intentions, and sense of self.
My approach follows the soul growth and empowerment focus of Evolutionary Astrology. This more modern paradigm builds upon the dualism and determinism of Traditional Astrology by expanding the polarity of positive or negative interpretations of energies into spectrums of quantum potential. This works in tandem with Evolutionary Astrology’s shift from overly identifying with the limited perspective of the single ego into the deeper and more expansive multidimensionality of our Soul Self.
When we navigate our lives from our soul’s multidimensionality, we open ourselves to more information beyond the linear time, space, and narrative of this lifetime. This shift empowers us to open to and work with aspects of our lives that feel impossibly stuck, confusing, or overwhelming within the current context of life. When we see more of the energetic dynamics and archetypal narratives at play within our soul’s psyche and energy field, we illuminate more of what is operating in us unconsciously and liberate revelations as to why we are the way we are and potentials of how we could be.
Evolutionary Astrology can also be a path of reclaiming the inherent belonging and perfection of all parts of ourselves, others, and life. It shows us how we all are connected through our collective experience of these energies, from shadow to light, and the power in taking responsibility for our energy while also not losing sight of giving and receiving grace. This is not to deny the very real truth that we are separate in this reality, or to shame or abandon the parts of ourselves that experience anguish and hopelessness in it. Rather, it is to take the opportunity to honor all of our experiences, to find and reclaim ourselves within them, and remember we are worthy of evolving whatever is keeping us from feeling safe, free, and alive.
Astrology as a practice cannot rush, bypass, or control any parts of our journey. However, it can empower us with greater awareness of what our soul took on in this life and how to use the tools of universal timing, potential, and archetypal patterns to guide our souls through whatever we face and to open ourselves to the highest good for ourselves and for all.
